A woman shares people in her life are not respecting her and
she’s tired of it.
I asked her how she is not respecting herself. Initially,
she replied she didn’t know and after a moment of thought she shared, because I’m
not listening to myself.
What’s in the way of you listening to yourself? She replied,
I won’t tell them no or to stop talking to me like that because I’m afraid I
won’t get their approval.
So, you believe you’re getting their approval by allowing
them to be disrespectful to you? She said, I hadn’t thought of it like that.
